Happy 17th Anniversary to Sondheim’s Putting It Together
Putting It Together opened on Broadway 17 years ago today! A revue celebrating the songs of Stephen Sondheim, devised by the composer and Julia McKenzie, Putting It Together marked the return to the stage of Julie Andrews. It played its limited 96-performance engagement at the Manhattan Theatre Club Stage 1 from March 2 to May 23, 1993, with Stephen Collins, Christopher Durang, Rachel York, and Michael Rupert joining Ms. Andrews.
