Assasins New Photos on Pinterest
Composer Stephen Sondheim and book writer John Weidman had a field day when they created Assassins, an imaginative parable which finds would-be and real presidential assassins, such as Lee Harvey Oswald, Giuseppe Zangara, Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme and John Wilkes Booth, among others, as characters in a carnival show. Last week we watched Sondheim sing praises of Paul Gemignani in our legends of Broadway video, now we get to enjoy photos on our new throwback Thursday board here. Enjoy!
