A Round of Applause for Marvin Hamlisch
We’re sad to report that Broadway has lost one of its most successful artists, A Chorus Line composer Marvin Hamlisch. One of only twelve persons in history who have won in all four categories of major US performance awards, Hamlisch was one of only two who also received a Pulitzer Prize (for A Chorus Line) on top of these. MWB applauds this singular sensation whose other Broadway works include They’re Playing Our Song, The Goodbye Girl and Sweet Smell of Success.
