Happy 40th Anniversary 1974“Candide!”

Today we wish a very Happy Birthday to the 1974 Broadway Revival of Candide Starring Lewis J. Stadlen with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim this new version of the show, originating as theatre-in-the-round, enjoyed great success when it opened at the Broadway Theatre on March 10, 1974. “Seven Comes Eleven” New Photos Added

Referred to as the “great-grandfather of Forbidden Broadway,” Seven Come Eleven was the sixth in a series of witty, elegant and original revues produced by Julius Monk. We’ve just added new photos of the cast including Tony Award-winner for the 1998 Cabaret Revival Mary Louise Wilson and Rex Robbins from the 1974 Gypsy Revival.
